Buchan Safari was founded in 2012 by a team of passionate Kenyan naturalists and guides who believed that safari tourism should be deeply personal, community-rooted, and genuinely wild.
Growing up in the shadow of Kilimanjaro and walking the plains of Maasai Mara as children, our founders understood that every animal sighting, every golden sunrise, every crackling campfire — is a gift that must be treated with reverence and shared with care.
Today, we operate over 45 curated safari packages across Kenya's most iconic wildlife destinations, with a team of 30+ expert guides, drivers and support staff — all Kenyan, all passionate.
